We have decided to go a little over budget and get ourselves a chauffeur and car for 18 days to tour around the smaller, less tourist orientated towns of Rajasthan. 3 days in and this has proven to be a wise investment. We have seen far more by road than we could have possibly hoped for and I feel we now have a far greater chance to experience the real India than we would have on the normal tourist trail.
