Rory the Builder

Organisation has been a hobby of mine for some years now and I have been indulging in it passionately over the past few days. I have already obtained my national tax number, opened a bank account, signed up for a football team, viewed 6 apartments, applied for 50 jobs and became a member of Melbourne Library. Pretty good going considering I've only been it the country 5 days. The annoying thing is, job hunting isn't going exactly to plan.  Although Australians haven't been that effected by the credit crunch, they are now starting to take precautionary measures to prevent it effecting them any more than necessary. In doing so they are cutting back on employing foreign workers and sadly that includes me. However, yesterday Rory secured a job as a builder and made his first steps towards becoming a Melbournite. For the next few days, until I land myself a job, I'm going to play housewife and ensure he has a good healthy meal waiting for him on the table when he get home from a hard days graft.
